Cats Got Your Tongue (#4) is my favorite in Anya Nowlan's Shifter Squad Six romance series. If you're into shifters and commandos, it's a good buy and quick read. Subplots include single parents, secret babies, genetic engineering, chemical warfare, and blackmail. The baddies get more believable and scary as time goes on, and by the end I hated the intel officer more than Dolores Umbridge - because he was written well and you're supposed to hate him. The second and fourth books, about Alpha triads, are my favorites, which surprised me because I'm usually all about my-one-and-only. Nowlan uses vernacular slang for body parts during sex, but it fits the characters. I bought the first e-book, Bear My Baby (har, har, *eyeroll*) as a joke when I had insomnia; it was okay, but I liked the others better.Product details

I like the series of the Shifter Squad. I like that the heroine is always smart and Kelis is that.Grant and Grim were hot...and as mountain lions go bad to the bone. Life is all about your mate and family. Everyone just has to come to that conclusion on their own. It was a good addition to the series. It can be read as a standalone. There is action and laughs and it is a longer read, so hang on to the edge of your .
Good story. Kept you on the edge of your seat. Sexy love scenes. Love the serials so you keep in the know with the characters you've come to love. Now for the bad part, there were missing words, grammatical errors, verb tense errors, and homonym errors throughout the series. A good reader could still get the gist of what was going on but a good editing is recommended. There were still questions at the end of the series. That left me feeling incomplete. If there is a reunion book in the works to tie up those loose ends, good. I will read it, regardless of the errors.

Oh. My. Gosh. So many good feelings about this book! And I am so happy that I was wrong with my initial thought of what this would be. Where I thought would be a love triangle, instead was a happy and healthy poly relationship. And as most know, I'm a huge sucker for those.
This was my first Shifter Squad Six novel. It's HEA and can be read as a standalone. I wasn't confused over what was happening with previous novels being alluded to or referenced. I'd definitely recommend it.

The aldroch twins give you that ecstasy face. They are experts at their job being part of shifter squad six but they are out of this world the best in making their woman satisfied. One night of passion was all it took for Kelis to be hooked on Grant (he's uh docta) . In my sexy voice e. Doesn't help that they are navy seals. What did she expect who else could handle a u.s.marine oops helicopter pilot. You know I'm bias to loving this one the best because of my marine corps status....in this story that Damon Slate was just as secretly and disgusting. He kept Grant and Grim away from their kids as he did with the others. Funny how he knows when to accidentally get them in the picture. I really love this series and sad that it had to end. But I'm glad it was a happy ending for everyone. You should definitely read this book but I highly recommend you read all of them.
I received an ARC for an honest review. I am so going to miss this series!!! I have loved EVERY one of these books! The guys of ShiftercSquad Six are awesome and sexy! And the mates they find are just as awesome. This book is about the last 2 single guys-the Aldroch werecougar shifter twins Grant and Grim. We've met them in the other books. Grant is the medic, Grim is the first guy in. Because they are different personality-wise it would be difficult for them to find a mate, but they do meet someone on a mission that helps them, Kelis, a Marine helicopter pilot. She hooks up with Grant and Grim and is then whisked away to Intelligence to be questioned. If you've read any of these books you know that means Spade! So Spade 'encourages' Kelis to work for the Firm. The next scene is the guys are in San Francisco and hear her voice. She's not overjoyed to see them. Why? What's been going on? Have they thought about her? Has she thought about them? Spade is involved so something is probably fishy. Great story once again. Sad to see the series end. Too bad we'll never know what kind of shifter Spade is??
